Common questions.
Each piece takes between 7 and 14 days to complete in the
atelier. We do not rush. If demand is high, the queue
grows — we do not hire faster hands to meet it.
Rarely, and only for pieces that feel right. Write to

with a clear brief. We will respond honestly whether we
can accommodate it.
Every garment ever sold by us is eligible for free
lifetime mending. Package it securely, ship it to the
Kyoto atelier — we cover only the return shipping. We
re-stitch seams, repair fabric damage, replace buttons,
and return it. No questions asked. No expiry.
No. The price is the craft price. We have never held a
sale and do not intend to. Final-season pieces may be
retired but are not discounted — they are simply
withdrawn. We do occasionally offer codes to our inner
circle for new chapter previews.
The atelier in Higashiyama-ku is open Tuesday–Saturday,
11:00–18:00 JST. Visits to the studio for fittings or
commissions require an appointment — write to us first.
Walk-ins are welcome in the anteroom during open hours.
